Prepare your skin in advance for the best SafeTatt result.

Moisturize the area 2–3 hours before application. Right before applying, the skin must be completely clean and dry, so wash away any product that has not absorbed.

This helps the design transfer as sharply and evenly as possible.

Morning (8:00–11:00 AM)

• Take a short shower. Avoid lotions, oils, creams, or deodorant on the application area. Use our exfoliating glove before application to remove dead skin and expose a fresh surface layer.
• Dry the skin thoroughly and wait at least 30 minutes. The area should be completely dry and oil-free.
• During this time, avoid exercise and hot drinks so you do not sweat.
• Make sure the application area is clean, dry, and cool.

• Try to avoid sweating: no workouts, hot baths, saunas, running, or similar activities.
• Do not wash the tattoo.
• Do not cover it with plastic wrap.
• Avoid rubbing or friction against the tattoo.

• You can shower, but do not scrub and avoid putting soap directly on the tattoo.
• If the tattoo has fully developed, normal activities such as swimming and exercise are fine.
• If the color is still developing, give it another 24–48 hours.

Remove hair from the application area and moisturize a few hours beforehand.

Immediately before applying the tattoo, wash the skin thoroughly with soap. Do not use moisturizing cleansers, as residue can make the transfer blurry.

• Make sure the skin is oil-free.
• Make sure the skin is dry and free from cuts or irritation.

We recommend using our exfoliating glove to thoroughly clean the skin before application.

• Carefully peel the backing away without sliding it across the skin.
• Do not touch the tattoo.
• Do not cover it with clothing for the first hour.
• Avoid applying immediately before bed, when friction can disturb the developing color.
• If the tattoo is on a joint such as the elbow, limit bending at first.
• Avoid sweating, heat, exercise, and washing the area while it begins to develop.

By day three, your SafeTatt™ should be fully developed.

It typically lasts around 1–2 weeks, sometimes longer depending on your skin and placement.

It fades naturally as the outer layer of your skin renews.

If you want to speed up fading, gentle exfoliation can help. Do not scrub hard enough to irritate your skin.

The color fades as your skin naturally renews. How long the tattoo lasts depends on several factors:

• physical activity
• placement — high-friction areas fade faster
• your individual skin
• your natural rate of exfoliation

If you have very sensitive skin or a history of strong allergic reactions, we recommend starting with the smallest tattoo as a patch test before applying a larger design.
